AI-generated content is all over the internet these days. Apps like Bard ChatGPT, and countless others make it so easy to produce a huge amount of content.
Does that mean AI will kill blogging in 2024? What is the fate of human writers in the wake of artificial intelligence?
As far as I am concerned, blogging isn’t going anywhere. AI won’t replace writers, and blogging is as strong as it has ever been. Let’s get into the reasons why:
3 Reasons AI Won’t Replace Bloggers
1.People still want a human touch
AI language models can’t have real life experiences the way we can. Blogs aren’t just about the words that are on the page. Blogs are about sharing perspectives, experiences, and emotions in a way that AI writers just can’t recreate.
When people read your blog post, they want to feel like they are connecting with a human being on the other side of it. The internet is an amazing place where people from all over the world can connect with each other. Blogging is one of the ways we do that.
2.People want accurate information
The internet can be a mess of disinformation at times. AI is famous for hallucinating facts. Sure, people make up facts all the time. However, as a human writer, you have the ability to fact check for inaccurate information.
Make it your mission to share facts in your blog posts. Of course, you can and should add your own perspective on the information. However, you can use your own voice to stop the spread of disinformation.
3.Google ranks high-quality content
As a blogger, it is so important that you put out high quality content that engages your audience.
Google has their EEAT quality guidelines to help you do this. The acronym stands for Experience, Expertise, Authority, and Trust. AI tends to create content that is generic and low in quality.
Artificial intelligence definitely doesn’t have experience, but you do. As a blogger, you have knowledge about where your expertise and audience interest meets. That is something AI will never have.
