Directing traffic to your blog is essential if you want to create a business and earn an income from your website. Utilizing social networks are an excellent way to connect with current readers and get the word out to people who wouldn’t have otherwise found your website. It takes a bit of work, but it is worth it.

- Use your website name as your social network handle. Try to keep everything as consistent as possible so that people don’t get confused about who you are.
- Focus on a few core social websites instead of trying to use them all. The key is to have a few accounts that have a lot of engagement. If you try to use everything at once, you’ll spread yourself too thin. Try to figure out who your audience is and which networks they prefer to use. Tik Tok and Instagram might be great for a younger or more visual crowd, while LinkedIn can draw in more professional types.
- Once you have figured out which networks you want to use, you can set up your blogs to post automatically to various sites. Don’t forget to repost older content once in a while. You can even retitle posts when sharing them to keep it fresh. Make sure that there are sharing options on your blog posts so that your readers can also share your blogs to their own social network pages.
- Don’t forget to interact with other creators in your niche via social networks. You never know who you may end up working with in the future, and cross-promotion between creators is an excellent way to find new audience members.
